Dan retired from the Owensboro Fire Department in 2008. He served the city of Owensboro for 11 years and spent much time with the public throughout his service with the city. He was the President of the Owensboro Professional Firefighters Association for several years and also served as the vice president of the Kentucky Professional Firefighters Association.

Dan began his career in the Insurance industry in early 2009. He is a licensed property, casualty and life agent. Dan has extensive experience in the insurance industry and has a passion to serve his clients.

Growing up in Owensboro, he attended Daviess County High School. Dan has been married to his wife Kim for over 18 years. They have four children: Noah, Allison, Jonah, and Anna Claire. They are active at St. Pius X Church, where he is also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dan and Kim are also very involved with their children’s academics and extracurricular activities, as well as activities within the community.
